Empty states are actually full of potential to drive engagement delight users, and retain users at critical moments like when someone downloads the app, clears out their content, or runs into an issue.
We had the challenge to create and design Empty States for the new app version. For me it's always exciting to have projects where I can draw, illustrate and be creative and this was the perfect example.
We had the freedom to create, from scratch, the new visuals because the old app version used simple text to communicate the "errors".
